On May 9th, 19th, Hu Weiming, the vice president of our company, participated in the
formulation of the national standard GB/T31990 "Technical Specifications for Plastic
Optical Fiber Power Transmission System" held in Nanjing. The series of standards
has a total of 5 parts, and now has completed 4 parts, and the development of the 5th
part is underway. This series of standards has detailed specifications on how plastic
optical fibers are used in power information transmission systems. Hu Weiming, deputy
general manager and the participating experts discussed the system performance and
requirements of each part of the series specification, and used the plastic optical fiber
to complete the automatic collection of real-time big data by using the optical fiber,
which laid a good network foundation for China's electric power. The system, exploring
the best matching method for electricity and power generation, opened up a new
technical direction.
